PUCCINI E LA SUA LUCCA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL is the only Festival dedicated to the Music and Operas of GIACOMO PUCCINI, taking place in Puccini's native city, Lucca. Since 2004 the Festival is offering daily concerts and recitals from 1st April until 31st October and recitals every thur/fri/sat from 1st November until 31st March, in the stunning setting of the Church of San Giovanni in the very city centre of Lucca. Every evening the Festival presents varied programs and performers, in the formula of Piano + two solists (normally a tenor and a soprano), with more than 70 professional singers working steadily for the Festival all year round.
