A good tour to get to know a little more background about Reims itself and where you will visit one bigger and one smaller champagne maker and get a personal tour in the cellars with a little tasting afterwards (one glass at the bigger champagne maker and 3 at the smaller one). Our guide had a lot of knowledge and learned us more about the whole champagne making process which was really interesting! However, for 80 euros I thought it was quite pricy. It would have been nice if we visited one extra small champagne maker with a tasting, which definitely would have fit in the time schedule.
The tour was great! The guides really knew a lot! Nice mix between the country side and the Champaigne center. Also the wineries are small, which is super nice! After lunch you get the opportunity to buy wines at producer prices from their own collection. Would have been even better to go to the cellar ourselves and do the shopping ourselves instead of having someone shop in their wine cellar based on what we chose on the menu.
Super dag gehad. Geweldige gids, fijne tocht door de wijngaarden op e-bikes, lekkere lunch, fijne huizen bezocht. Echt een aanrader.
Hele mooie en schitterende toer, goede uitleg zeer vriendelijk en veel bijgeleerd.
